About This Blog

Strategy is the long term working out of cause and effect to achieve victory from a thinking enemy over time. It is the gravity of political interaction. In the short term, many physical processes seem powerful. In the long term, it is gravity that does the work. And so it is that in all political activity, from individual exchanges to war between nations, strategy really matters.

And yet few analyses take strategy – long term cause and effect – seriously. This blog focuses on exactly that aspect of our nation, our economy, our families, and our culture.
